Whyte & Company is here to help you create any custom sink design. The creation starts with your initial vision. How do you want to re-vamp your space? No matter the type of space, Whyte & Company can modify our sinks to enhance your needs. Recently, designer Julia Buckingham created her perfect bathroom sink to match her space. Here are the steps of how to make your dream a reality.
STEP 1: Pick a Whyte & Company sink design to work from or send us a sketch
First, choose any Whyte & Company sink design based on your space. We offer sink designs for your everyday spaces including, but not limited to, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and bar areas. Once you pick your favorite sink design, take a look at our custom colors and choose one that would make the best statement in your space. Julia Buckingham chose our Lolita vanity top sink in Breakfast at Tiffany’s teal blue.
STEP 2: Tell us your vision
Julia had a vision for her sink. She wanted her Lolita vanity top to become a wall-hung sink to act as a bold statement in her bathroom. The following questions are good to keep in mind when deciding on modifications:
- What dimensions does your space allow for a sink (length, width, and height)?
- Do you want it to be hung on a wall such as Julia’s sink?
- Do you need anything added (overflow, apron, etc.)?
STEP 3: We’ll paint the picture
Painting the picture is the fun part. When designing a new space, it can be hard to visualize exactly how everything will look. We will provide you with a rendering image until it matches your vision. Once you approve of the design, then we will talk about the price because you know you have champagne taste.
STEP 4: The Nitty-Gritty
Next is the nitty gritty, as a line drawing is created. This is essentially the blueprint for the sink and will show the exact dimensions of your modified sink design. The line drawing is sent to a general contractor, as they will need to approve everything. If approved, the drawing will be sent to the manufacturer. Production of your custom sink only takes about 6-8 weeks because #BONUS it is Made in the U.S.A.
STEP 5: Install and Enjoy!
Since your sink is handmade in the U.S., it can ship to you in just 2-3 days. Installation is the last major step. By this point, your #dreamincolor has now become a reality. Once installed by your local plumber, all you have to do is enjoy your stunning sink forever. Your custom sink is now a dazzling centerpiece in your space.
